Via @being_feminist on twitter
this is not via @being_feminist. this is via ME.
the “being feminist” facebook page has plagiarised this quote before. I wrote to them asking them to take it down; they refused until I threatened to write an article exposing them as thieves, not just of my content, but of other people’s. a month or so later, I saw them re-post the quote, AGAIN without permission or attribution.
now they’re posting this quote of mine on twitter - where the original received more than 1000 retweets. the quote, attributed to me, also garnered 150000 reblogs on tumblr. they can’t pretend they don’t know who said it because I TOLD THEM. TWICE. it’s bad enough when little twitter accounts run by individuals post the quote as though it was theirs, but when big accounts use my workto get reblogs, likes and faves without paying me or even attributing me, I get pretty damn pissed off. so please, give @being_feminist the publicity they so clearly crave, and let everyone know that they mine other creators for content so that they can get page traffic.
